AC & heating FAQ
Does my AC just need a recharge?
Only if the refrigerant is low, and refrigerant does not normally get used up. If it is low there is usually a leak, so we find the leak rather than just topping it up.
Why does the AC smell musty?
Moisture can build up in the system or the cabin filter. A new cabin filter and a system check often help.
Why is the heater blowing cold air?
Common causes are low coolant, a stuck thermostat or a blocked heater. We test to find which, then quote the fix.
